And here we are again.... another Christmas holiday came and it happened so fast again. Christmas tree, lights, gifts, decorations, laughter and joy... but all that holiday joy looses the meaning without the one who was supposed to be there, next to you.
All those Christmas lights loose their colours when you feel that someone important is missing.
You look at people around you, look at their happy faces and wish you were as happy as they are, wish you didn't have to pretend that everything is the way you wanted it to be. Being away from the one you love is not easy and it gets even harder during the holidays.
But if you came to my page to just read another post about how it's sad to be in a long distance relationship, how hard it is to really enjoy the holidays without the one you love, then i'm gonna have to disappoint you because you won't find anything like that in this post.

Don't forget that we are lucky to live in the 21st century, we have all that amazing things called Skype, phone, mobile, email, social networks and many other fun solutions that you can find for keeping in touch with your loved one.
There are miles between you two and if you can't change it right now then just get over it and try hard to change your mood and attitude towards the holidays.
Forget about the distance, it can never control your hearts. After all it's Christmas, the holiday of magic, so get ready for some fun and unexpected, make a wish right at the midnight of the New Year's Eve and be sure that it will come true. Think about him/her and it will bring a smile to your face. What can be greater than the feeling of having someone so dear in your mind and heart? What can be better then the ability of making all those miles vanish away in couple of seconds? Close your eyes and you will see that your love controls the world and makes the reality the way you want it to be. Don't let the circumstances let you down, be happy with what you have and enjoy this beautiful time of year.
